CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your PreFlight Club gear is built to last — but like any precision equipment, it performs best when properly maintained. Follow these care instructions to keep your prints sharp, your colors deep, and your garment in peak condition for every departure.
1. Always wash inside out.
Turn your garment inside out before every wash. This protects the print from direct friction against other items in the load and is the single most important step in preserving the design long-term.
2. Use cold water and a gentle cycle.
Wash on a cold or warm setting — never hot. High temperatures break down print adhesion and cause colors to fade prematurely. Use a mild, color-safe detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh chemicals — they degrade both the fabric and the print.
3. Skip the extra spin cycle.
High-speed spin cycles put unnecessary stress on the garment and the print. A standard cycle is all you need to get the job done cleanly.
4. Air dry when possible.
Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Air drying is the gentlest option and significantly extends the life of your garment. If you use a tumble dryer, set it to low heat and keep your PreFlight Club tee separate from heavy items like jeans, towels, or hoodies — the friction and heat from heavier fabrics accelerates wear.
5. Iron inside out on low heat only.
If ironing is needed, turn the garment inside out and use a low heat setting. Never iron directly over the print — high heat will damage or crack the design. A garment steamer used from the reverse side is an excellent alternative.
Follow these steps and your PreFlight Club gear will stay cleared for departure, wash after wash.
